Resolution Authorizing Expenditure from Capital Equipment Reserve Fund

Resolved, that pursuant to Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law, there is hereby appropriated from the capital equipment reserve fund of the Beekman Fire District in the Town of Beekman, Dutchess County, New York, the sum of not to exceed $35,000.00 to finance, pay for, and be applied toward the purchase of AEDs and accessories.  The foregoing resolution is adopted subject to a permissive referendum.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE FROM CAPITAL EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND

Resolved, the purchase of one (1) Spartan Gladiator-Marion Tanker (the “Vehicle”) at a cost not to exceed $1,101,375.00 is hereby authorized; and it is further

Resolved, that pursuant to Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law, there is hereby appropriated from the Capital Equipment Reserve Fund of the Beekman Fire District in the Town of Beekman, Dutchess County, New York, the sum of not to exceed $1,101,375.00 to pay for and be applied toward the purchase price of the Vehicle.  The foregoing resolution is adopted subject to a permissive referendum.

Please be advised that the Board of Commissioners of the Beekman Fire District will be holding a special meeting on January 15, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.  Meeting will take place at the Beekman Firehouse, 316 Beekman-Poughquag Road, Poughquag, NY 12570.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the purchase of new apparatus.
